Connecting with people is an important aspect of ministry. In this area of focus you will get a better understanding of the inner workings of connecting the Body —managing teams, effective communication, and supporting the vision of the church administratively.

The connections department internship will cover a variety of areas from assimilation, discipleship, structure and processes to flow. You will gain insight and practical experience in connecting the RTTN families to its vision and ministries. You will learn through being a part of guest experience and relations, Connect Track, Connect events, Housefires, Interest Groups and team building.

Skills/Availability needed to apply:

• Abilities to work with Google Suite, Pages/Word, and Excel/Numbers
• Must have your own laptop
• This department will also require Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings
• Have a desire for people and administrative work as this internship will involve both aspects of ministry

We believe that an individual is never too young to learn to love and serve the Lord. Leaders with hearts for this up and coming generation will not only be able to use their gifts to pour into the kids but also understand what it means to set an example of what it means to grow in Christ.

General Responsibilities
• Work closely with our children's pastor and any other leads within the department Lesson/Service Preparation
• Scheduling
• First Time Guest Relations (this includes, but is not limited to, phone connections throughout the week)
• Help dream, plan, prepare and execute events directly pertaining to the children's department
• Stay up to date on effective ministry tools, creative trends and items

Sharing the gospel does not always have to take place on a platform with a microphone in front of thousands of people. By going into communities, prisons, nursing homes, and anywhere there is a need, you are being the hands and feet of Jesus. Ministry can happen anywhere because all around us are lost and hungry souls who experience the love of Jesus through generosity and kindness.

Those working in Marketplace Ministry will be exposed to a wide range of ministry. We will be working with schools, nursing homes, prisons, food distributions, and church wide community outreaches. We will also be traveling to other churches in our community, as well as other RTTN campuses, to minister alongside those advancing the kingdom. This internship is a Thursday - Monday week, as most events take place on the weekends.


General Responsibilities:
• Assist with event/outreach management such as set up, planning, and volunteer coordination
• Meeting with various local leaders and ministers to coordinate efforts for various types of events
• Ministering the gospel one-on-one with our community as well as at events
• Traveling within the community as well as other cities/states to assist in various ways in events and services
• Volunteer mobilization as well as project management for team events
 


Requirements:

• A strong love for persons of all backgrounds (religious, economical, cultural, educational, etc.)
• A call to evangelize the lost
• Ability to minister to strangers and work well in community events with persons from other ministries/organizations
• Servanthood and honor and and overall positive attitude
• Can work in all conditions (indoor/outdoor, weather, local and in surrounding communities)
• Valid drivers license
• High mobility as we will be off campus most days
• Sound understanding/knowledge of scripture and the ability to pray with others (leading the prayer)
• Desire to minister within the scope of the mission and vision of Redemption to the Nations Church (as well as our beliefs and values)
• Basic computer skills (Emails, documents, spreadsheets, etc)

A big part of any ministry is how we do what we do. There are so many things that go on behind the scenes to enable the mission and vision of the house to go forward. This internship opportunity will enable you to be a part of the processes that enable ministries to work together efficiently, while creating original tools and improving current ones. You will get to see and participate in database management, ministry solutions, conference logistics, communications, training, and empowerment of others to carry out their ministry goals. This internship is a Sunday - Thursday week, with occasional Saturday participation in training or church wide events.


General Responsibilities:

Video Content Creator - As a Content Creator, you’ll get to work to build engagement with those who interact with us through social media and our local campus ministries. You’ll help design and create the content that’s important to RTTN and our purpose.

General Responsibilities
•Work closely with our Media Director to ideate concepts that make sense for our social media platforms and the local campuses of RTTN.
•Develop and execute campaigns to support church initiatives or values.
•Shoot & edit video content.
•Design and animate social media posts.
•Identify and explore new opportunities for content creation
•Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools
•Manage and care for provided equipment

Middle School, High School, and College Aged students comprise our Student Ministries at RTTN. Each of these ministries are equal parts equipping and fun. You will get the opportunity to use organizational skills, plan activities, build relationships, and help to develop and equip the next generation to be ready to pick up the mantle.

This is a house of worship. The heart behind everything we do is a heart of worship and thankfulness. Go deeper into the behind the scenes of organizing and scheduling teams, hearing the Lord on what sound to release to the Body, and how all of the creative arts can be used to bring glory to God.
