BUILD acronym
B - Burden
- Pray that we carry God's burden. Carrying God’s heavy responsibility initiates building, ensuring that our efforts align with God’s heart, not just "good" ideas
- Burden requires embracing what God desires deeply like Nehemiah’s heart for Jerusalem’s walls. Pray that your desires will completely align with God's desires, even if it doesn't benefit you personally
U - Unity
- Pray for unity among this body of believers and everyone involved in building
- Essential for building, unity begins with individual commitment. It is the key to overcoming opposition and division
- Nehemiah’s model of unity undergirds the vision; the church must actively fight division rather than tolerate it
I - Investment
- Pray for maximum investment based on our alignment with the burden of God
- Building requires mutual investment of time, talent, and treasure as demonstrated in Exodus 35, where willing hearts freely gave resources for the tabernacle
- The expectation is overflow in giving, reversing scarcity mindsets to abundant provision
L - Leadership
- Pray for everyone to feel the burden of leadership and to engage in this
- Leadership is critical to mobilize vision execution, with emphasis on rising leaders across family and church sections, mirroring Nehemiah’s division of labor
- RTTN is like a train station sending leaders (apostle, prophet, pastor, teacher, evangelist) to the nations
- Every person is called to lead in their sphere, especially families and local communities
D - Diversify
- Unity in diversity allows many gifts and expressions to pursue one vision, as different weapons and skills built Jerusalem’s walls
- The Holy Spirit enables this balance, preventing uniformity while fostering anointed diversity
- Every contribution is vital. Discover and use your unique gifts. Pray that everyone connected to this body uses their God-given gifts and talents to build up the body and bring the fullness of what God wants to life
BACKGROUND:
- On Sunday, November 16, 2025, Pastor Deven Wallace released a word for our church in a sermon named Rise + Build.
- We fasted and prayed together as a church body December 1 - 3.
- This Build initiative will continue until God gives different instruction.
JANUARY '26 INSTRUCTIONS:
- Give Him our firsts. First words in the morning with praise and prayer. First meal of the day by fasting breakfast. Bring our first fruits to Him.
- Read the Build 30-Day Devotional and tune in to the Build Worship Playlist through Apple Music or Spotify.
- 6:00 AM EST Prayer Call beginning January 5 through January 30 (Mon - Fri only)
FEBRUARY '26 INSTRUCTIONS:
- Pastors Kevin and Deven released the Selah Wave on Sunday, February 1.
- The Selah Wave supports the Build Initiative by pausing and reflecting before He releases more instruction.

- "Come and See" Sermon Series began on March 15
- Write names of those who are unsaved on the walls in the lobby so that we can all pray for them!
- "Mighty To Save" prayer strategy for the lost
- Pray their spiritual blindness is removed
- Pray God sends merciful laborers into their lives
- Pray for conviction of sin
- Pray their heart becomes receptive
- Pray for divine encounters
- Pray for boldness to witness + invite
- Pray they say YES to Jesus

- M - Mind - Luke 6:45 Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks
- O - Overflow - John 7:38 Out of your belly will flow rivers of living water

AUGUST '26 INSTRUCTIONS
- "RUACH" Wave
- Contrary winds - any time you feel resistance, you’re going in the right direction. We are in the season of WIND. The weather is reflecting where we are in the kingdom. The Word went forth, and then the weather got bad. Speak to wind. Respond to the contrary wind with the mouth wind. “He works all things together” means “to assist us”. If you will align with my word, what has been resisting you will begin assisting you. Head winds become tail winds. RUACH will be our next prayer wave lasting until the Ruach Conference in October.
- R - Revive - Ezekiel 37 - prophesy to the wind, revive dry bones
- U - Unload - Acts 26 - let go of what you’re holding on to. The wind makes them unload the ship. Gear, grain, etc were in the way of what God was trying to give them.
- A - Accelerate - Closing and opening of doors with the wind
- C - Command - Matthew 8, Matthew 14
- H - Heaven on Earth - Acts 2
